Settings/Options to remove specified characters/words from searches, exact searches

Whenever there is an “&” or something like a “feat.” in the artist name or song title (it would be better to do the search without quotes), it returns nothing in the app automatically. So, if there’s a way to maybe add an option/setting to in the backend of the app remove specified characters such as the ampersand (&) or words like "feat." so it searches properly. Also, another option/setting to remove the "exact search" of artist and title, as a manual search will find the lyrics when all you do is remove the quotes around them.
